SUMMARY:SWFL RESET Center Presents Kids + Communities = Lee County Trees
DESCRIPTION:Join this FREE event to kick off the Lee County Circular Design Challenge\, the US’ first implementation of a tree-focused\, citizen science-based climate impact model that connects local schools and communities worldwide.\n\n\nWe invite you to join us as we kick off the Lee County Circular Design Challenge\, the US’ first implementation of a tree-focused\, citizen science-based climate impact model that connects local schools and communities worldwide. Lee County Circular Design Challenge announcement \nSpeakers and activities include: RESET’s composting\, schoolkids learning nature’s circular relationships via PlanetBox™\, Russ Ringland’s Future Forestry tree planting on Veterans Parkway\, and JustLearn’s STEM education tools and Web3 vision for partnerships and value-capture built upon global\, aligned citizen-science forestry initiatives. \nLearn how the Fort Myers region is initiating the capture of long term value delivered by trees that are sprouted\, nurtured\, monitored and managed by local students and groups. As reflected in community\, climate and economic value\, Lee County benefits will continue to grow over the decades-long lifespan of the trees that take root now. \nAll are enthusiastically welcome to this free event. Please spread the word. Be sure to bring your mask! We’ll be both outdoors and inside (screened porch) during the event. \nThe Lee County Circular Design Challenge is endorsed by RESET and is informed by Buckminster Fuller Institute’s 2021 Spacecamp Trimtab initiative. \nInquiries: Holley Rauen(swflreset@gmail.com) and Susan Mills (susan@justlearn.io) \nCOVID precaution: Please wear a mask and practice social distancing as much as possible. We look forward to gathering with our friends and partners in person. \n\nLearn more & register HERE.
