DESCRIPTION:Florida For Good is happy to partner with Seaworthy Collective on its biggest event of the year featuring pitches from their 2023 startups\, a keynote speaker\, and exciting updates for the whole community to celebrate together! \nSeaworthy’s Startup Showcase is celebrating and elevating the incredible work being done by BlueTech startup founders who Seaworthy Collective has been mentoring and supporting throughout 2023. Seaworthy’s latest cohort of startups are addressing critical challenges in ocean and climate impact\, including solutions for pollution\, greenhouse gas reduction and removal\, as well as coastal resilience and adaptation\, with direct applications for Miami and beyond. \nThe planned program includes: \n\nKeynote Speaker: Ted Janulis\, Founder & Principal\, Investable Oceans\nStartups and Entrepreneur Showcase: Live pitch presentations from each Startup who participated in Seaworthy’s 2023 Founder Mentorship Program\nSeaworthy’s CEO Daniel Kleinman: Update on Seaworthy’s mission\, past cohorts\, and 2024 Outlook\nNetworking\, Learning\, and Community Building\n\nAbout our Keynote Speaker\, Ted Janulis: \nTed Janulis is Founder & Principal at Investable Oceans\, an ocean investment hub that accelerates market-based sustainable ocean investing across all asset classes and sectors of the Blue Economy. Over a 35+ year business career\, Ted has served in various executive positions\, including CEO\, at financial institutions involved in Capital Markets\, Banking and Asset Management. He is President Emeritus of The Explorers Club in New York City and serves on numerous for-profit and not-for-profit boards\, including Gannett Co Inc\, Ocean Risk and Resilience Action Alliance (ORRAA)\, One Ocean Foundation and Duke University’s Nicholas School of the Environment Board of Visitors. \nPrivate Reception tickets are also only available in limited quantities. Ticket prices for General Admission will go up  to $35 after October 13th!
