Posies Flower truck was started by Stephanie Newton—a girl with a little extra time on her hands looking to spread some love and cheer around the Tampa Bay area. Why Posies? She felt this town needed a vintage flower shop on wheels—and with help from her friends, she was determined to make it happen. Plans to launch the business started germinating and once this cute blue truck caught her attention, there was no going back. They retrofitted the bed, bought a canopy and filled the buckets with unique blooms that you can’t find at the grocery. Everyone loves fresh flowers and it’s even better when a bouquet is styled by you to fit your personal taste and budget.
The Flower Truck makes its way around town at popular local spots, festivals, events and pop-up venues. Posies also offers bookings for private events like weddings or social gatherings and will even handle personal deliveries or set up the truck for a private photoshoot.
They use recycled paper and twine as part of their sustainability efforts, and source fair trade flowers when possible. They also donate gift cards to local schools for their auctions, as well as the children’s hospital.
