The CLEO Institute’s 10th annual Empowering Capable Climate Communicators symposium will be held Saturday, March 28, 2020. This year’s symposium, held in partnership with the University of Miami’s Miller School of Medicine, will focus on the intersection of Climate and Health. We are excited to announce this year’s keynote speaker, world-renowned climate scientist and 2019 UN Champion of the Earth, Dr. Katharine Hayhoe.
Our panels will focus on Climate Impacts on Health- Children’s Health and Climate, Extreme Weather Impacts on Health, and Policy & Advocacy to Mitigate the Effects on Health because of our Changing Climate.
