Join Charlie Pioli, the owner of O-Town Compost in a hands on tutorial demonstrating the basics of composting!
O-Town Compost has a two-part mission that aims at both reducing the amount of food waste going to Orange County’s landfill, and making compost to support the local food system.
Be prepared to get dirty so please bring closed you do not mind being exposed to compost/ food scraps.
Tools and materials will be provided. The first half of the class will be indoors in a lecture style setting. The second half will be in the garden.
Also, please bring a refillable water bottle and sunblock/ hat.
