An assembly of teens from Pinellas County, FL and Puerto Rico (via online platform) will gather together to identify solutions to environmental problems facing Florida and Puerto Rico and develop an Action Plan to address the current issues .
We will engage in a Climate Challenge “Escape Room”. Guest speakers in the Environmental and Sustainability field will share their expertise.
Open to youth ages 10-14 (you do not have to be a 4-H member). The Summit is limited to 20 students. In the event that we receive more applicants, we will select the teens based on their answers from the registration form. We will notify you if your teen has been accepted to attend the Summit by Thursday, April 2nd, 2020.
Workshop is FREE
Please note that this event is during a school day. Youth participating at the Summit will receive an excuse form from Pinellas County 4-H.
Participants must bring a bag lunch and empty water bottle.
Parents may stay as OBSERVERS (but feel free to have some kid free time and get some things done, you do not have to stay!
