Join The IDEAS Hive on the 2nd Monday of every month to explore a new topic of Sustainability impacting St. Pete!

This month, we will be welcoming Jen Andreani to talk all about soil, composting, and opportunities to get involved in the soil food web in St.Pete. Jen is a Permaculture Designer and one of the founders of the Pinellas Community Composting Alliance and a board member of the Sustainable Urban Agriculture Coalition.

Join us for engaging breakout activities, enlightening information from our expert educator, and an opportunity to create bright ideas for St.Pete.

This topic links to the United Nation’s Sustainability Goal 15: Life On Land that aims to protect, restore and promote sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems, sustainably manage forests, combat desertification, and halt and reverse land degradation and halt biodiversity loss. By 2030, this SDG Target is to combat desertification, restore degraded land and soil, including land affected by desertification, drought and floods, and strive to achieve a land degradation-neutral world

From Ocean Health to Food Deserts, Clean Energy to Education…together we can move the meter towards a more sustainable and prosperous St. Pete!
