Sometimes it can feel like Mother Nature is out to get us, but is she really? Join us on Oct. 17 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Cypress & Grove Brewing Co. for an engaging conversation about sharks with experts in the field as part of the fall series “Is Florida Trying to Kill Me?”

Guest Speaker: Tyler Bowling, Program Manager of the Florida Program for Shark Research

The event activities and discussion are FREE. Food and beverages will be available for purchase.

Leave a comment on the discussion board with your questions for the speaker and it might be picked for the Q&A portion!

The program starts at 6 p.m. and the discussion will be from 7-8 p.m. Afterwards, meet representatives from additional local organizations.

The event will also be live streamed on the UF Thompson Earth Systems Institute Facebook page starting at 7 p.m.
