Join The Hive St. Pete for a waterway cleanup of Little and Big Bayou!
We will be cleaning Grandview Park’s shoreline and accessing the water here by kayak/canoe to clean further in the water (If interested in cleaning in the water, please provide your own kayak/canoe). From there, we can split up into three groups: 1) Group to clean up at Grandview Park 2) Team to travel by kayak and canoe in Big Bayou (please provide your own) 3) Split up and head to close by Little Bayou Park and Westminster Shores. Then, we can meet back up at Grandview Park at 12:30 pm and weigh our trash / recycling collections.
We will provide non-plastic bags like burlap sacks, bins, and gloves. Please bring a reusable water bottle, and kayaks/canoes for those interested in getting out in the water to clean up!
