Topic: Sustainability/Climate/Resiliency Plans: Avoid the piecemeal approach in planning, process and implementation — Speaker: Matt Anderson, SO, City of Coral Gables
The Sustainability Officers Roundtable (SORT) is USGBC Florida’s virtual forum for sustainability officers or managers who oversee their organization’s internal and external sustainability practices, policies, commitments, responsibilities and/or communications. Our definition of sustainability includes triple bottom line, resiliency and social equity. By invitation only, the group collaborates, shares best practices, imparts lessons learned, and stays up to date on the latest information and resources in the field. The goal of this group is to create a safe, solution-oriented space for peers, accelerate an SO’s positive impact and make their jobs easier. We successfully hosted an impactful SORT with USGBC NE FL in 2016-2018 and now want to host one statewide.
